Thinking of your Mom & Dad and the joy & blessings they gave us in the years we fellowshipped w/them at. Bay Area Christian Church in Webster.    I’m sure for each of you it’s been a very sad year, this first year always is and adding COVID  has been an additional burden.  
We hope you are all doing well and we will always keep your parents in our hearts & look forwarding to seeing them in Heaven!  

We went to BACC with your Mom & Dad while we were in Houston til 2015 when we moved to KC and loved them both very much!   Shared in Bible Study w/them in their home and enjoyed several Special Occasions with them.   Your Mom had a heart that was always for others and her laughter was "contagious"!!  We were blessed to know her and your Dad.   May you be comforted knowing they both served the Lord with such a Love for Others and always with such graciousness.  May God enfold you in His faithful Love & comfort you as you cherish the many wonderful memories.   Earl & Betty


Bruce, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to take care of Mrs. Wanda. She lived an interesting life! Bruce you were a Wonderful son to your mom! We had some fun times and not so fun times. I prayed to God that I could be with her when she left this earth and he let me. I sat in the room with her until she took her last breath , prayed with her and played old gospel hymns. Just for comfort she went peacefully. We are never ready to let go. Now she is with your dad and out of pain. 

Loved looking at all the pictures and memories! I remember one summer I was sick and had to go to bed for the summer. Aunt Wanda gave me a box of presents to open 1 each day. I remember visiting in LaGrange, Dayton, Washington DC , visiting all the zoos, museums on the bases, pools and will never forget the tram and going to the National Capital. Gifts from so many countries. What I remember the most are calls with Aunt Wanda after dad died. She was so excited she had lived longer than anyone in the family. My most treasured memories are her sharing her memories and stories of my dad. Thank you Aunt Wanda!

She let me clean her house and help at the office for extra money. She did that to help me not because she needed me.

I always likened her to Barbara Bush...smart, beautiful, brave, strong and and a wicked sense of humor.
