Walter Isaac

 Sunrise                                                                                         Sunset        September 10, 1939                                                        January 30, 2016 Walter Isaac, better known as "Hop" to most was born on September 10, 1939 in Shiro, Texas. He was the fourth of eleven children born to the late Mr. Walter Isaac, Sr. and Mrs. Pinkie Bell Jefferson Isaac. His parents and four siblings (James, Melvin, Eugene, and Lewis) preceded him in death. Walter was educated in Shiro and Huntsville, Texas prior to relocating to Houston, Texas as a young adult. In the early 70’s, he met the love of his life, Ms. Helen Marie Barber and they were united in marriage on December 12, 1972. To this union three children were born, Kelvin Wayne who preceded him in death, Walter Jr. and Latrina Shante’ and together they raised eight children in a loving home during their forty three years of marriage. Walter was employed with Mustang Industrial/Adobe Corporation for nearly 40 years before his retirement. He was a man with a big heart, always willing ot help anyone in need and he enjoyed spending time with his family. His passion was hunting, sports, and he got a real "kick" out of beating everyone at card games. Today, heaven is rejoicing as Walter recently rededicated himself to our Heavenly Father, accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. On January 30, 2016, God called Him home. Left with a legacy of love and devotion to rejoice in his memory are his loving wife, Helen Marie Isaac; three sons, Curtis Isaac, Walter Jr. Isaac (Christella), and Clarence Ray Bennett; four daughters, Latrina Isaac, Sandra Johnson, Gloria Barnes (Carl), and Alice Carrier, all of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Clinton Isaac, Sr. (Barbara) of Houston, Texas and Raymond Isaac (Diane) of Huntsville, Texas; four sisters, Eva Moten, Dorothy Cooper, Betty Boone (Fountaine), all of Houston, Texas and Bobbie Dirden (Thomas) of Point Blank, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Tyshan Isaac, Bobbie Carr and Mevalyn Barber and one brother-in-law, John Kindle, all of Houston, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
