Vivian Ann Roberson

Vivian was born, raised, an educated in Houston, Texas. She was blessed and welcomed into this earthly life on August 16, 1960 to two loving parents, Robert and Vivian Sanford. Vivian was the ninth child born to this union. She accepted Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, at a young age. She was a member of Greater True Light Missionary Church under the leadership of Rev. T. Obrian Berry, Senior Pastor. Vivian attended Dogan Elementary, E.O. Smith Jr. High, and Phillis Wheatley Senior High School. She had four children; Elijah Sanford (Brandi), Sharron English (Eric), and Bruce Roberson. Her parents; Robert and Vivian Sanford; one daughter, Marbalee Roberson; two brothers, Kenneth Sanford and Charles Lewis; and one sister, Latitia (Tish) Watson preceded her in death.   Left to cherish her loving memories are her loving children; Elijah Sanford (Brandi), Sharron English (Eric), and Bruce Roberson; her four sisters, Shirley Emerson (Ray), Christine Mayes (Nethaneel), Sandra Clark, and Delores Sanford; her two brothers, Robert L. Sanford Jr. and Raymond Sanford; aunt Nellie Mae Moses (Harvard); uncle William (Bill) Sanford, Jr.; three grandsons, Elijah Sanford II, Brandon Sanford and Dashaun Sanford; her special nieces, Tremicka Stansberry (Errol), Valencia Sanford-Bates (Yolanda), Carretta Sanford, De’Cassalyn Sanford, Rochelle Scott, and Crystal Green; five special nephews, Ray Emerson (Brenda), Teddrick Sanford Sr., Nijell Sanford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, framily, and friends.
