Virginia Valdez, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away at Memorial Hermann Hospital on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was born on October 27, 1946 in Houston to Antonio and Candelaria Valdez. Preceding her in death are her parents; son and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving family members include daughters, Elizabeth Tovar and husband Juan, Jeanie Love, Naomi Longoria and husband Joe; sons, Gilbert Love and wife Tony, Benny De Los Santos and wife Janice, Alfredo Galindo, Jr. and Sharon Gomez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene, Minnie and Lupana; brothers, Roy, Phillip, Noel and Henry.
Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2016 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd. Houston, Texas 77011. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
