Virginia Heredia Garcia, 97, of Spring, TX. went home to be with her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her daughter and son on December 28th, 2020. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Frank Garcia, Jr., her loving daughter, Judy Garza, and her most beloved grandson, Garrett Garcia. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Marye and son, Frankie Garcia.
Virginia was a native Houstonian who attended Milby High School and classes at The University of Houston Downtown. She worked during the WW II effort for warship preparation. She later spent her years working in a medical office and finally in the mortgage company industry.
Virginia was a beautiful loving devoted mother to her children and a doting grandmother to her grandson. She was a supportive wife for 54 years to her husband. She was a faithful servant to her Lord. She was a member of Founders Baptist Church for 41 years where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher to the Nursery Department and prior to that she was a Kindergarten Sunday School teacher.
Virginia's heart was filled with love for everyone she met. Her kindness was immeasurable. She was widely known as a prayer warrior to so many who loved her.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5th, from 5:00 - 9:00 PM with funeral services on Wednesday, January 6th at 11:00 AM. at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., 77023. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
