Virginia Rae Garcia, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2019. Born July 24, 1942, to Harry and Almeda McCutcheon, she aged 76 years. She grew up with her one sibling, Margaret Russie in the Heights area and attended Hogg Middle and Reagan High School.
Although Virginia made a career later in life in the banking industry at First State Bank, Wells Fargo and Texas First Capital, she was primarily a homemaker, raising her four boys. Virginia loved to spend countless hours on the tennis court with her neighbors in Lakeside Forest. She would collect dolls, antiques, shuttle kids to practice, make dinner and always ensure that her boys were taken care of.
Virginia is survived by her four children; James, Donald, wife Amy, Gary, wife Pam and Steven, wife Cody, grandchildren; David, Jamie, Alexa, Ryan, Nathan, Dylan, Matthew and Emily, and great grandchildren; Charles and Zoey. She is also survived by the father of her children, James V. Garcia, Jr., and her dear sister, Margo.
Graveside services will be conducted on March 6th at 10:30 AM.
