I love you Grandpa.  I'm always gonna be your, "Best Friend".  I'm gonna miss your singing and I'm gonna miss watching wrestling with you. I'm gonna miss so many things, but mostly I'm gonna miss the hug and the kiss goodbye.  My Grandpa Victor ruled.  My heart will never be complete now that he's gone.  I wish I could hear him say, "thank you my friend" one more time.  I wish I could tell him I love him one more time...so I will...

Thank you for everything Grandpa.  Thanks for being a family man, a grandpa, a dad, a friend, a wrestling fan, a disaster movie fan, a horror film fan, a popcorn aficionado, a music lover, a great singer, a great role model, a fight fan with me, a husband.  Thank you for being my Grandpa.  Thank you for loving me.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I will never forget you and I will always love you.  One day I'll be your "best friend" again.  One day I'll see you again.

We leave Houston with heavy hearts, but know that Victor's legacy will live on in his kids,  Diana, Vicky, Lolly, Victor, Gabriel , Vivian,  his grandkids and great grandkids.  We love yall.

It is bitter sweet as I am saddened that you have left, yet grateful that you're no longer suffering! I still remember the raspas you'd make us, your legendary voice and your unique sense of humor as you'd make us laugh and fill the room with your laughter. 

I will be forever grateful that when I was in college living in Houston and hundreds of miles away from home, you were always welcoming and willing to share Felipa's delicious homemade tortillas, and you even allowed me to interrupt you during your "novela hour" and made me feel like family when I just needed a break. 

I will miss hearing you sing your random songs like "cachito" or just a good 'ol tejano song, which you were passionate about.

I just had the privilege of spending the last couple days with your family and I am reminded that you leave behind a surviving legacy of a tight-knit family that are fun, strong, loving and supportive! You will be missed Victor...rest in peace.

To my grandpa, my best friend, I miss you very much. It will be hard not seeing you when I first walk through the door sitting down watching your historias but know we all love you and will forever be grateful that you were a great part of our lives. Love you, Vampiro

To a great man whom we all loved dearly left us this past Wednesday. Got real close to him this last few years. Every time I came to Houston, Victor and Felipa's house was a place to visit. I will miss all his old stories of the family back then. He was a wealth of information regarding the history of the Ybarra's. His passion for music was evident and his voice was one of a kind. We love you Victor.

I just want to express my sincerest condolenses to all the Garcia family. May you find comfort and peace. Prayers for the family.

This is my beautiful, my bestfriend, my grandpa, and the man who raised me. A big influence in my life, that made me the person I am today. He taught me that family is everything.
