Veronica Lynn Wade-Buster

Veronica accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. After Veronica graduated from Elgin High School, she went on to study Education at Texas Southern University.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Education, she started her first job with Houston Independent School District as an Educator. She later received a Master’s Degree, kick starting a 30-year career in education. She also worked in the Texas Prison System as an Educator and Anheuser Bush.

Veronica married Oscar James Buster and together they were members of Lily Groove Missionary Baptist Church where they faithfully attended until their health became an issue. She retired and spent her time traveling, shopping, and enjoying the fruits of her labor.

Veronica was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar.

She is survived by her Caregiver and Cousin, Andre Hagger, and a host of family members.

All services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation from 9:00-10:00 AM, Homecoming Celebration at 10:00 AM followed immediately by the Committal Service in Brookside Memorial Park.
