She attended Sam Houston State University and later earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. As a dedicated pastor’s wife, Jonelle was active in the music and children’s programs of the churches her family served. She played many instruments including the piano, organ, flute, guitar and keyboard.
Jonelle Fowler enjoyed a long and successful business career. She retired from 27 years of service with Chevron as an Executive in the Natural Gas division. Jonelle’s greatest joy was being a grandmother. Some of her most favorite times were spent with each of her grandchildren either cooking in the kitchen, making crafts or supporting their individual activities. She was affectionately known as “Grammy” and was famous for always having snacks!
In her final months, Jonelle continued her ministry with her family from the Legacy at Long Meadow. She touched the lives of all of those around her by offering friendship, encouragement and support.
