Vera is survived by daughters, Diana Sanchez and Angelica Santana, and son, Christopher Sanchez; grandchildren Rosemary Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez, Marisol Santana, Katalea Santana, Nayeli Santana, Erica Cuellar, Adrian Salazar, and Daniel Ray Torres; and great grandchildren Alijah Bevill, Lyric Bevill, Anthony Sanchez, Arianna Sanchez, Betty Cuellar, Ivyanna Cuellar, Joanna Salazar, Julian Torres, and Daniella Torres. She is joined in heaven with her husband, Augustine Jacob Sanchez, and son, Daniel "Cowboy" Salazar.
A visitation for Vera will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A rosary will occur Friday, January 22, 2021 at 6:00 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1920 Marion St, Houston, Texas 77009. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:15 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, Texas 77009.
