Tyndall graduated from Aldine High School. He met the love of his life Jacqueline in Houston, Texas. Tyndall worked at Houston Lighting and Power for 20 years. He retired from HL&P, and became a self-employed electrician, AC tech. He was a jack-of-all-trades. Tyndall had a passion for windmills and mallard ducks.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Lavender; daughter, Sherry Riggs; son, Graham Lavender; parents, Dennie and Elizabeth Lavender.
Tyndall is survived by his sister, Alva Kay Bowhana of Glencoe, AL; stepson, Kirk Godkin and wife Liz of Spring, TX; stepdaughter, Kimberly Martin of Spring, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Bill Ranshaw, Don Lunsford, Cole Godkin, Matt Aguilar, Bryce May and Carson May.
A visitation for Tyndall will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
