Troy R Thornton Sr.

Troy has five brothers and one sister which are: Rolwyn, Charles, Donald, Mike, and Gene Thornton and sister Rita Chamblee. Troy married his wife Johnnie Mae on November 21, 1959 in Houston TX. He is predeceased by his wife Johnnie Mae and his brothers, Rolwyn, Charles, Donald, and Gene, and father CJ Thornton. Left to cherish his memory is his 104 year old mother, Faye Stovall and sister Rita Chamblee, and brother Mike Thornton son; Randy Thornton and his wife Tracy Trotter Thornton of Houston TX, daughter Sherry Thornton of Houston TX, grandchildren; Stephanie Grace Manara, Carly Nicole Manara, and Joshua Randall Thornton. Troy worked as an Expediter/Buyer for Curtis Matheson Scientific and Brown and Root. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and growing tomatoes in this garden.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm in the Colonial Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in the Grand Chapel with military interment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
