"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 Born September 29, 1973, Trina, the first of two children, was born to Albert Comer and Lynda Bluitt. Trina accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Bishop Robert E. Woodard , Sr. at Williams Temple Church Of God In Christ in Houston, Texas. Trina was an active member of the Youth Choir, the Drill Team and the Youth Alive. She was a founding member of the Christ Temple of Deliverance COGIC which began in May 2007. Trina was a faithful and active member, who willingly helped in various capacities in the ministry and she also encouraged many who needed it. She was never too busy to find give encouragement or to offer a kind word to others. Trina attended Lockhart Elementary School, Ryan Middle School and Bellaire High School. She attended Lamar University in Beaumont, late transferring to Houston Baptist University, later attending Texas Southern University. She was on the Dean's List at and graduated with Honors. Trina was blessed with three sons, William Yancy III, Landen Je'kard Dunbar and Lyndan Nicoli Dunbar. She was part-owner of the Comer & Comer Independent Care Facility. She most recently employed as an Independent Transportation Specialist for various clients. Trina was loved by all who knew her. She had a sweet, loving and giving spirit. She had a quiet demeanor. She was always willing to give to others when she saw a need. She touched everyone she met and quietly effected change in the lives of others with purity and simplicity. Trina and her sister, Ria, had an inseparable bond and a loving friendship. She had a special relationship with her nieces and nephews whom she cherished. She was a devoted aunt who spoiled them at ever opportunity. Trina quietly slipped away from us on Friday, April 27, 2012. Those awaiting Trina's arrival in glory include grandparents, Walter and Florida Bell Brown, Sr.; two aunts, Gwendolyn Joyce Hall and Barbara Diane Brown and stepfather, Gerald Allen Green. Fond memories will forever remain with her sons, Willliam (Tre'), Je'kard and Lyndan; her mother, Lynda Bluitt-Green; father, Albert Comer; sister, Ria Malveaux; stepbrother, Ashley Comer; one aunt, Clora Deloris (Charles) Luckey of Dallas, Texas; two uncles, Walter (Sheila) Brown, Jr., Houston, TX and Neil Williams of Shiner, TX; two nieces, Destinee and Dejanae; two nephews, Daylon and Dyllon; one great niece, (Princess) A'niya; a host of "god-aunts, god-sisters and a god-brother," and a multitude of loving relatives, friends, neighbors and church members.
