Tommie was born in Magnolia, AR on February 27, 1944 and was raised with 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
After moving to Houston, Tommie met the love of his life Anita. They married April 1, 1966 after only having known each other a few months. They were married 48 years until Anita’s passing in 2014.
Tommie is survived by son Tommie Ray Ainsworth Jr, daughter Dedra Bullard and husband Dewayne, and son Jerry Ainsworth; six grandchildren, Dustin Bullard, Nicholas Bullard and wife Brianna, Holly Bullard, Meagen Ainsworth, Madison Ainsworth and Morgan Ainsworth; 2 great grandchildren, Thibaut Bullard and Sailor Bullard, and one Godchild Athena Forshee; and brothers Bolivar Ainsworth and wife Jean, and Donnie Ainsworth and wife Terri, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommie worked hard as a machinist all his life.
The things Tommie loved to do most were hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
