Tomas Martinez Jr., born March 7, 1925 in Mission, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ofelia G. Martinez. Tomas was employed by Stauffer Chemical Co. for 40 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Rose Castillo and husband Johnny, Laura Samudio and husband Paul, Diana Ramirez and husband Adolph, Martha Martinez; grandchildren, Michael Castillo and wife Cindy, Jessica Castillo, Melissa Grothe and husband Aaron, Tomas Ramirez and David Ramirez; 4 great-granddaughters; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10am, on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5560 Laurel Creek Way, Houston, Texas, 77017. Burial to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
