Todd J. Kaufman, 45, of Houston, Texas, passed away May 14, 2015. He was born November 28, 1969, in Houston, Texas, the grandson of Maurice and Pearl Kaufman, Leon and Sarah Daily who predeceased him, and is survived by his parents Barry and Judith Kaufman of Houston, his brother Drew, very special “kids” Cory and Mayer Levit; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
During Todd’s professional career, he held roles in both the private and public sector yet thrived in his capacity within the law enforcement community. Afforded the opportunity to serve those around him, Todd’s ambition was to champion those less fortunate and improve the quality of life of not only the public he served but his family and friends as well.
In addition to serving his local community, Todd was also committed to numerous charities and special causes which he held close to his heart. Whether through his civil service or his tireless volunteer work, Todd’s selflessness and caring of others is what he will be remembered for most.
In addition to his charitable work and career, Todd will also be remembered as a consummate and loyal friend who never missed an opportunity to help those close to him. Whether joining them at a sporting event, one of his favorite restaurants or just lending a helping hand, Todd is someone who will forever be thought of as a caring and dependable friend.
A memorial service will be held (today) Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Temple Beth Israel, 5600 N. Braeswood Blvd, Houston, Texas, following a private burial.
