Thuy Loi Luong, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 6, 1940 in Vietnam. She was happily married to Henry for 57 years. She worked hard her entire life and continued to do so until retirement. Although her job was laborious, she enjoyed the social aspect of work. In retirement, she was devoted to practicing Tai Chi and rarely missed her favorite show, Wheel of Fortune. She loved to cook, shop, and travel and to dote on her grandkids.
Thuy was preceded in death by her brother and parents. She is survived by her husband, five children, son Paul, daughters Anita, Sheri, and Holly, and son Cuong, their spouses, and eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by her six sisters.
A visitation for Thuy will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077.
Procession will follow to the burial service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77055.
