THOMAS JOSEPH ROME worked at Houston, Lighting, & Power before retiring to travel and play his beloved game of golf. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on January 9, 1948, he moved to Pasadena, Texas where he passed away on July 6, 2022 at the age of 74.
He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Candace Pohl and husband Aaron; Mindy Stone and husband David; grandchildren Ryan and Lindsey Pohl, Zak and Summer Stone, Reagan Talley, Easton Aaron; great-grandchild Andrew Pohl; his sister Dardon Ann Hayter and husband Dennis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy, and his parents Joe and Helen Rome. Being a dad and paw-paw were his greatest joys in life and he could be found at the ballpark, volleyball court, golf course, or swimming pool to cheer on his family.
A service will be held at Funeral Park Lawndale on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
