Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at American Heritage Funeral Home 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on September 23, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 9217 E. Ave L Houston, Texas 77012. Committal service will follow at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.

Tommy was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Thomas Sr and Virginia Ontiveros on August 2, 1947. He graduated from Milby High School. He married Paula Sandoval on December 6, 1970, in Houston, Texas. He worked as a machinist for MEMC for 30 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division. He was involved as a member of the American Legion Post #472, and Knights of Columbus.

Tommy is preceded in death by Father, Thomas Ontiveros Sr., Mother, Virginia Ontiveros, Siblings, Alfredo Ontiveros, and Patricia Mendoza.

Tommy is survived by his wife Paula, Son Thomas and his daughter in law Angie, Grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, and Zachary, Sisters, Lilly Gonzalez and husband Salvador, Alexandra Maldonado and husband Albert, Candy Rodriquez, Esther Polina, Yolanda (JoAnn) Alva. Brother and Sister in laws, Paul Sandoval and wife Lillian, Hope Govella, Rachel Gusman and husband Marcello, Rosie Dela Riva and husband Salvador, Lucy Rodriguez, Joe Sandoval, and Alice Longoria.

Pallbearers will be Edward Ontiveros, Rene Ontiveros, Larry Ontiveros, Marcello Gusman Jr., Salvador Dela Riva Jr., and Frank Longoria.
