Thomas Ray Minchew of Magnolia, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2019. He was born in Crockett, Texas on February 5, 1938. Thomas married the love of his life, Betty Jane Brummett on July 3, 1959. Tommy was a pipefitter by trade and worked all over the world and was a member of Local 211 in Houston, Texas. Golfing, hunting, fishing, and his family were his passions.
Left to cherish his memories are children: Trent Russell Minchew and his wife Robin, Karen Rice and her husband Roger; grandchildren: Jessica Minchew, Justin Minchew and wife Holly, Cody Rice, Madison Rice; great-grandchild Jamison Schwartz; sister Nona Jane and brother Jerry Wayne.
Family will receive friends and extended family for services at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the funeral beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Grand Chapel. Interment will follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park.
