I worked with Mr. Lott for 5 years at Eiland.  This man was hardworking, honest, and just a kind person to be around. He spoke highly about his kids (till this day I remember his daughter was valedictorian bc he told me like 10 times...thats how proud he was).  Life can he so unfair sometimes and its sad to know his life was cut short by such a terrible disease. Rest in Peace.

This guy, always knew how to crack a joke, always looked out for his students, I remember the first day of 4th grade as if it was yesterday. Nervous to sit in a desk, with kids I didn't know, but his presence was inviting, as if to say "sit anywhere you want kid". Before that class I simply knew him as the teacher who jumped and touched his toes during the annual Christmas sing-a-long at Eiland. It was cool to see someone perform such a feat. I struggled a lot that year, math was moving so quickly, and I wouldn't have been able to keep up if it weren't for him meticulously explain it to me. After school every now and then I would see him walk his dogs alongside his wife, I always thought it was adorable how he made sure to make time for everyone. Writing 5 years after he passed, when a classmate told me that he had passed on our way too math, 6th grade year, it still hits home, knowing how even when he was fighting cancer, he made sure to walk his daughter down the aisle. That just shows how far he would go for someone, family or not, I remember our last interaction, a simple wave and a quick check to see how both of us were doing, I wish I could see him and thank him for that 4th grade year, it was one of the best. I hope you're doing good up there Mr. Lott, we all miss you.

I worked with Mr.Lott in 1999@BMC  Software. He was fun, kind and tough manager all rolled into one.  I remember he helped me quite a bit in my work as I had just come to Houston from India. 

It really sucks to hear that my fourth grade teacher is gone, In fact he was one of my favorite teachers at Eiland. Mr. Lott was a great teacher at the time and helped me a lot. When it came to our G.T project or when I struggled doing math. Because of him, I was able to use the learning he had given us to help me do well in my math classes later on. It sucks that I was never able to greet him again and see how he was doing after I had left Eiland, hope you're doing well up there Mr. Lott

Mr. Lott and I worked together in Klein ISD. He taught me a lot about teaching and data. I was new to teaching and he answered all of my many questions.  Thank you Mr. Lott for being so kind to a new teacher.

I remember everytime i would show up at his house he would always say. Oh heyyyy cjjjjjjj all drawn out. Everytime i think of him i can still hear his voice saying the same introduction. The last text i sent him was letting him know that i love him so much and i always want him to know that. He responded with that he knows and he loves me and the whole family. He hopes my father is doing ok with the news and that he will fight til the end with Haldor (his dnd character) +5 silver mace and then use all his spells from his special staff of power. He was still being funny even to the end. I wish we could have played 1 more game of DND and faced the 5 headed dragon together.
Uncle Tommy you will always be in my heart and i miss you dearly.

I went to school with Tommy and Clayton was my classmate. I remember Tommy's easy going nature and smile. I know he is healed and resting in peace. Prayers for the family.

The entire Lott family is in our thoughts and prayers. May the memories of the happy times you shared with Tom, in some small way, comfort you in the days to come.

Carol certainly knew Tom better than I did, but I knew him well enough to know that he was a very special person. Kind, compassionate, giving, helpful, and generous are just a few descriptive words that come to mind. I know he will be greatly missed by so many people. My prayers are with his family, as they navigate their lives without him by their side. May God's presence comfort you at this difficult time.

I always had fun around  "Uncle" Tom growing up. I remember being so excited when he'd take us all to the pool and buy us pizza as kids. He was a great friend to my mom and a wonderful encouragement to me when I was struggling with my major in college. The last time I saw him, I remember he was cracking jokes, making me laugh and making me really feel like part of the family. I am so thankful that I got to know him and that he left such a Godly  example to follow.

Mr. Lott always knew how to brighten up my day. Whether that be with a funny facebook post, show, movie, board game you name it... he always had something up his sleeve. I admired his energy and patience towards even the most difficult times in life. You easily gain perspective within minutes of being around him. My absolute favorite memory with Mr. Lott would definitely have to be when we were all playing DND and it was my turn to play, I decided to save our team by morphing into a snake which in that moment meant he had to throw me (in snake form) onto the dragon/monster (always wished we had gotten to the multiple headed dragon in DND) to defeat the monster and save the team. He was so thrown off by my request and he ended up throwing me as a snake onto the monster and we won! That memory is one of my favorites with him. Thank you for bringing your light into my life. As a future Lott, I promise to continue on your legacy of joy in life and to always make sure that family comes before everything else as I know that has always been and will always be the most important thing to you. I love you always Mr. Lott, my father in law.

I will always remember the baseball memories with my dad. Though I may not remember the early years, I will always remember the traveling we did, staying at different hotels throughout the southern States. He always put others before himself and was always a nice and kind human being. Thank you for teaching me how to be such a great man, and thank you for your goofy sense of humor. I will be sure to pass it along to my son one day as well. I love you dad.

My dad was an amazing father and loved my family and I so well. Thank you, dad, for teaching me everything I know. Thank you for cutting my hair when I was in elementary school, dyeing it when I was in middle school, and combing it when I asked you to in high school. My heart aches and I am going to miss you terribly, but I know you are partying it up with Jesus in Heaven. I love you and I'll be seeing you.

My dad was an incredible man. Jesus Christ tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and I believe that Dad was a great role model for this. He took every opportunity he could to show love to others, especially his children. Dad influenced so many people's lives, and he will be missed greatly. I love you Dad.

I taught Tommy both Algebra and Advanced Math at Seminary.  He was a very good student. It has just occurred  to me that Tommy is the second of his class that we have lost this year.  (Mark Craft passed away earlier this year). God bless you all.

I went to church, high school and college with TOmmy.  We played softball together, dungeons and dragons, bowling and late nights at the arcade. I feel i am a much better person for having known tommy and thank God for putting him in my life. i hate that we "grew apart" due to the miles between us but never forgot the values that he taught me.  Prayers be with you.

Thank you God for allowing such a humble and kind soul to join us on this earth. He raised three amazing kids, was a loving husband, and impacted so many lives. I admired Mr. Lott as a father figure. He always treated our friend group with respect, always open for a laugh, and even being the one to make us laugh. He even hosted a mystery party at his house and I never stopped loving mystery parties ever since. He was always jovial and seemed to live life as fully as he could. I pray for his soul to be at peace and in heaven, for his amazing family to find peace in their hearts and to cherish all of the blessings his being on earth provided them. Peace be with you, Mr. Lott. Thank you for the memories.

Thomas Lott had to be a special man of God to raise such precious children.  I met Megan in our sewing group at CFBC last summer and it has been a joy knowing such a sweet person. My heartfelt condolences to the family.  A blessing to all that you will see him again in heaven some day. My love to each of you.

Uncle Tom Knew me before I knew him, for 25 years. He always made you laugh, always had a smile on his face even on the worst days. He had a huge heart full of love. I remember going to your house every Christmas after we opened our gifts we would get in the vehicle and ride over to Uncle Toms home in Houston and we would have family time, he was at every single birthday I can remember. He always gave me  a card with the amount of money of the age I turned. We had bbqs, craw fish boils(even though he had to take benedryl) he always enjoyed family time and food of course LOL. I remember staying over there and we would have pallets on the floor watching movies or playing games, we would wake up and go to Church and Earn Bible Bucks, I have so many memories, I love you!  I was The First Niece to Uncle Tom and I gave him his First Great Niece. He adored Desi, and She Loves Her some Uncle Tom. Thank you For always loving everyone! I love you Uncle Tom. Thank you for being The BEST UNCLE I could have!

Some of my fondest memories as a child were in Boy Scouts with Mr. Lott. He taught us some great values that I try to instill into the next generation now. I know he's watching over us. My prayers are with you all.

I think I was about 7 or 8. We were at a family reunion and he came in and asked if any of the kids wanted to play baseball. I said, Sure! We went behind the community center and he tossed it to me as I swung terribly. He taught me to watch the ball and you will be able to hit it. I was able to hit one of my first baseballs and then he and I ran around the bases. He was always so encouraging and kind and I will never ever forget his silly and fun personality.
