Thomas “Tom” Lambert, Sr., 86 was born on Monday, December 29, 1924 to James Blain Lambert and Jessie A. Stone Lambert in Ticonderoga, New York. He entered into rest on Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Tom was awarded the Purple Heart for his service during World War II in the United States Army. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his children, Marian Pennington and husband Jim, Vicki Paramore, Gerry Lambert, Mavis Runnels and husband Theron, Thomas John Lambert, Jr. and Carol Lambert; five grandchildren, Jamie Pennington, Rob Pennington, Jason Paramore and wife Maggie, Ilyn Bielamowicz and husband Jeff and Theron Runnels, II; five great-grandchildren, Jordan Paramore, Tyler Bielamowicz, Taylor Bielamowicz, Trevor Runnels and Tatum Runnels; three sisters, Rooney Cowan, Shirley Pelerin and Judy La Bounty, sister-in-law, Geri Wiles and husband John; Betty Peria, Lois King, close family friends and his bowling family, The Early Birds Group and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is reunited with his wife of 56 years, Corinne Elizabeth Lambert; daughter, Claudia Lambert; parents, James Blain Lambert and Jessie A. Stone Lambert; brother, Frank Lambert; sisters, Alice Holmes, Mary Simpson and close friends Tom Peria and Russel King . Due to the family’s wishes that no public services be held, family and friends are asked to direct memorial contributions in honor of Thomas “Tom” Lambert, Sr. to the American Cancer Society, Greater Houston Area, P.O.
