Thomas Floyd Green Jr., age 75, of Trinity, TX, passed away on April 16, 2023. A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with a committal service at 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery. A reception will follow at American Heritage Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Thomas was the loving son of parents Thomas Floyd Green Sr. and Louise Bartkowiak Green. He was born in Houston, TX on August 3, 1947. He attended Sam Houston High School, served in the army as a front-line medic in the Vietnam War, built custom vans in the 70’s, was a life-long upholsterer along with his parents, taught in the Huntsville Prison, and most recently worked as an engineering technician for Blue Water Works.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father and mother, Thomas and Louise. He is survived by his children: Kimberly Barnett (Lane), Kellie Taglioli (Don), Steven Green (Jaimie), and Jennifer Satterwhite (Jeff). Grandchildren: McKayla Lesjak (Boston), Abigail Green, Lillie Taglioli, Sophia Green, Judy Barnett, and Donnie Taglioli. Great grandchildren: Briana Lesjak, and Emberly Lesjak. Sisters: Kathy Barr, Velma Doss, and Alice Owens, and numerous family and friends.
Pallbearers: Jimmy Nichols, Ron Cobb, Mike Bell, Mark McQueen, Donnie Barr, Steve Owens, daughters – Kim and Kellie.
Honorary Pallbearers: Lane Barnett, and Don Taglioli.
