My love and condolences go out to each of your sweet family.  Uncle T.J. was such a positive impression for every one who met him and loved him. Good afternoon my dear father.  I tried to put words to paper yesterday but was not ready yet.  I have spent the last few days talking with my kids about Paw's role in their lives.  How truly blessed we have been to have his wisdom, his love and care and participation in all of our lives all these many years.  What amazes me the most is the devotion to him from all the little great-grandchildren. Daddy you are loved and missed so very much. You showed this family integrity, honor, doing what is right within the family. your love of the Lord and how a family steps up to be there for each other no matter what.  You will be missed each and every day but I know in my heart you want us to smile, be happy and to remember all the happy gatherings, the poker parties, the good times we shared.  Thank you Daddy.

What a sweet dear man - i know he will be  truly missed by many.  The Lord took him home where he is at peace.  You are so blessed to have had him for so long.  All the wonderful memories you will cherish.  What comfort the Lord gives us knowing we will all be together again in Heaven.  God Bless the family.

As we sat listening to the readings, solos and tributes this morning to this very special man, I thought how wonderful to be so well loved and remembered. It truly was a lovely service...one which would make him so proud of each of his family members. God's peace!

I have so many memories of him. He was the most loving man and grandpaw anyone could ask for. Him and ga would always bring donuts to Jim, Meagan and I, I would make coffee and we would sit for hours and talk. When we first moved in our home he came and made me a garden. I loved it. My daughter at the time was only about 4 years old and he put her behide the tiller with him and they tilled the dirt to start my garden. They had a resturant across the street from me and he and ga would come at least 2 times a month to go with us to eat there. When my daughter was a baby and needed to go to the Dr. he and ga would come get us and take us. I don't know what I would have done without him. I loved the way he would shake his keys at ga when he was ready to leave. I am going to miss him so much. He was a man that you could count on for anything you needed. There is none other like him. I love you paw and will see you when I get to Heaven..

Today, Memorial Day, we lay my dear sweet Father to rest.  I miss him already and cherish all the precious memories I have of him.  
I am so blessed to have had him for my Dad for all these many years.  From Wanda...daughter of T.J. and Ruby.
