Mr. Cox gave me my first job at age 12  his flower and plant store off Westhiemer. I am old, but want to say Houston Garden Center. Paul and I humped cinder blocks and hung pipe in the ceiling of an old Whataburger. I was paid around $2.00 an hour. The best job of my life! Thank's for giving me an opportunity to be someone and learn vauylable business lessons. I remember around the same time Tom and David were able to purchase a really nice Mustang selling flowers on the street corners, which is another good lesson noted. My mom and sister still live on Westerly Lane as of 9/11/2021. Peace, James Woodall 

I am so sorry to hear about Mr Cox. I have so  many wonderful memories of my friendship with Kelly, her brothers,  Mr. and Mrs. Cox  and spending time at their home when I was a teenager. Prayers and hugs to all of the family.
