Thomas Marshall Aiken, age 57, passed away in Houston, TX on May 23, 2010. He was born and raised in Shreveport, LA and attended Louisiana Tech University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in chemical engineering. Tommy worked with Mustang Engineering in Houston as a Chemical Engineer. He was a member of Harley Owners Group – Houston Area #1 Chapter, Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Society of Chemical Engineers. He had many hobbies including motorcycling, fishing, hunting, events with grand-kids and spending time with family and friends. He volunteered with Life Way Angels, Life Way Parent Coordinator, Dinner Groups, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, Katrina Aid and Natchitoches Christmas Lights Festival. Tommy is preceded in death by Trace Cravatt. He is survived by his sons, Jason Aiken and wife Sarah and Benjamin Aiken; grandchildren, J.J., Hunter, Jimmie, Emily, Macyla, Landen and Shayne; sister Janice Ridlehoover; brother, Jim Aiken. Special thanks to Mike Lindsey and Dan Vela. Pallbearers are Galen Hopper, Mike Lindsey, Dan Vela, Gary Maddox, Ben Koshkin and Honorary Pallbearer is John Jordan. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 27 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
