Theresa Hawkins

On November 28, 1960 a baby girl was born to the late Leonard and Hazel Smith. She was raised in Houston, Texas. Where she attended Houston ISD. She also completed school for a CNA.      Theresa accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of 1st New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very active Choir and Mission member. Later she became a loyal member of Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Theresa worked for NCI until her health started diminishing.      Theresa united in marriage to David Hawkins. To this union two children were born.      She is preceded in death by her husband: David Hawkins, parents: Leonard and Hazel, grandparents: Arthur and Bessie Ryans, Sidney and Mary Smith: Aunts: Mary Butler, Winnie Monroe, Creasie Davis, Uncles: Wren Butler, Albert Monroe, nephew: Jeffery Harold.      She leaves to cherish her memory: Two Children: David Hawkins(Dominique), Chenise Hawkins(Roy), Two Grand-children: David Hawkins III, Eypyt Hawkins. Sisters: Bessie Trammell(Wallace), Linda Hunt(Willie), Neices/Nephews: Teisha Haynes(Jerome), Danielle Davis, Jasmine Haynes, Jordin Haynes, Ninfa Pruitt, Amber Harold, Raven Harold, Eriel Harold, Lily Patterson, Roxy Peterson, Rose Peterson, Hessney Peterson, Deaveavalon Peterson, Keiona Savoy, Raymond Peterson, Jonthan Peterson, Derrick Peterson, DeMarquise Harold, Jeffery Harold III. Special Friends: Cheryl Verge, Mamie Battiste and Albert Washington. Step Daughter: Angela Davis(Arthur) Sister-In-Law: Genise Hawkins and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
