My Brother. Always THERE for ME!!! Love and missed YOU. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, your family, and what you mean to me. I know you are up there and fishing a lot.

I was in Canada when i heard the tragic news and regret not being able to attend his services... Can’t think of a person in our division that has made more of an impact at MD Anderson during my 14 years working there. I’ve worked with Thai off and on for many years and always joked with him that I was tired of hearing his name everyday... even when i didn’t see him for weeks or months, his name would come up in meetings and other discussions day after day.

The name “Thai” became a synonym for “magician”, also synonym for “anything can be done”. He was one-of a-kind.. one of the most intelligent, passionate, well-respected, and hard working people I have ever met. You will be missed Thai...

Dear Vi, I saw your father as such a kind, gentle and loving man. Already going through our own emotional distress as you know--I was devastated to get this news from CJ. My last memories of him were how we visited outside HSPVA and talked about the future and finally our families all proudly sitting  together at the graduation in Jones Hall. Your talent is overwhelming, but it flows from your inner-strength. I have no doubt that he armed you with everything you need to carry on to the great destiny that is waiting for you. --CJ's Dad.

It hurts to hear this.  I'm so sorry. 

I enjoyed working with him this year on a class project which is actually helping to generate a change where I work.

He was so proud of his family.  I'd sent a YouTube link re: his daughter to my friends.

We worked together in New Orleans  for Fertility Institute for several years and he always had a ready smile. He was so smart and had the kindest eyes.  Absolutely devoted to his wife and family. I have never seen a man so excited and nervous for the birth of his daughter.  He confided over lunch once  that his heart grew the minute she was born and we laughed about daughters smiles making your heart melt. He touched many lives here and was greatly appreciated.

I was not able to sign in at the memorial service, so I wanted to share my condolences with his entire family.  Vi's eulogy was so moving; all of us listening could envision those car rides with Thai and Vi.  I was fortunate to work with Thai on many projects at MD Anderson and his "can-do" spirit was infectious.   He loved a challenge and never gave up until he could find a technical way to make the life easier for a patient on their cancer journey, or the Care team taking care of the patient, or the administrators working behind the scenes.  He was generous and a role model for many. 

We are so sorry for your loss.  Shalini and Savera were devastated upon hearing the news of Thai's passing.  I worked with him on several projects at MD Anderson and will truly miss his  enthusiasm.  While he was not involved in direct patient care, his work on our IT systems impacted the care of thousands of patients for the better.  
Again, our deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss.  He was a good man in every way.
