Texas E. Simpson

Texas E. Clark Simpson “Memaw” of Houston, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 23, 2016 at the age of 98. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Walter William Simpson, her son David Walter Simpson, and her daughter Sharon Simpson Faust. Texas is survived by her seven grandchildren, Laurie Simpson Ramos and husband Mario, Ricky A. George and wife Pam, David W. Simpson and wife Shawn, Angie George RaeCerney and wife Cheryl, Sherri George Bradford, Stacie Simpson Moreland and husband Eldon, and Kathy Simpson King.

She was blessed to know all 15 of her great grandchildren: Gabriel, Julian, Deborah, Joseph, Brandy, Justin, Ashley, Kasey, Amanda, Phillip, Gregory, Brandon, Trey, Ryan, and Megan. She also enjoyed all 17 great great grandchildren.

She is also survived by daughter-in-law Ruthie, brother-in-law Roy, and sisters-in-law Joy and Jimmie, many nieces and nephews, and precious loved ones Jan, Jimmy and Suzanne. Memaw was incredibly blessed throughout her life with many wonderful friends.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7010 Chetwood Drive, Houston, Texas 77081.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am , Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 am at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7010 Chetwood Drive, Houston, Texas 77081. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
