He was born to Arlie W. Moore Jr., and Mary Moore. He was the younger of two brothers, who are 10 months and 10 days apart. Lynn was a 1977 Milby High School graduate and mastered many crafts, working at ABM Security Services, Continental Airlines, Air Specialist, and Williams Insulation.
Lynn loved his dogs dearly, “Babe” “Sanshi" and "Yamashita”, they were his babies. In fact two of the dogs were named after Judo terms. Lynn had many hobbies and interests. He loved motorcycles, he lived and loved to ride for many years. He was a 3rd degree rank black belt in Judo. His other hobbies included restoring cars and trucks and collecting guns and knives and was involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Despite the “rugged exterior”, Lynn had a heart of Gold, caring for his father whom he called “Pop” during his last days.
Lynn is preceded in death by his grandfather Arlie Wayne Moore Sr.; Grandmother Betty Lee Moore and his parents, Arlie Wayne Moore Jr. and Mary Moore.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Arlie Wayne Moore III and wife Gerry; sister-in-law Julia Wheat; “sisters” Patricia Summit and Jada Smallwood; numerous friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends at 2pm, followed by a memorial service at 3pm, on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn would have liked to have donations made to any Animal Shelter or the Houston SPCA.
