On May 28, 1958, Terry Joseph entered in world to Pearline and James Joseph. Terry matriculated through public school in Acres Home,Texas, graduating from MC Williams in the year 1977. While attending M.C. Williams, Cathy caught his eye and they later married on August 1, 1980.
Terry, known to many as “Lil Boy,” worked hard since the age of 14. He ventured in entrepreneurship, and owned and operated a trucking business. Terry returned back to work for West End Lumber Co., now known as Beacon, were he worked until his final days.
Terry loved sports and entertaining others with his comical personality, competitive domino and spade skills, and none other than his crowd favorite fried fish.
After acknowledging and accepting Christ as his savior, he began to do his work timelessly as a member of Carverdale Community Fellowship COGIC. Terry served faithfully on the usher board, brotherhood ministry, parking lot ministry, and male chorus. Terry battled Bladder Cancer but won that battle in January of 2023. On March 12, 2023, Terry answered the master’s call and peacefully transitioned from his earthly home to eternity.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearline and James Joseph; his sisters, Pearlie Joseph, Velma “Sally” Smith, Joann Joseph, and Wanda Oliver; and his brothers, James Joseph, Jr., and Perry Joseph.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Cathy Joseph; his daughters, Teri Joseph and Rachel Joseph of Houston,Texas; his sons, Nolan Joseph (Angela) of Katy, Texas, and Arthur Patton of Houston,Texas; his brothers, Melvin Joseph, Donald Joseph, Paul Joseph, Manuel Joseph, and Charles Joseph (Marilyn) of Houston,Texas; his sister, Deborah Joseph of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Terry Prince, Kasen Joseph, McKenzie Joseph and Madison Joseph; great-grandchild, Peyton Prince; his bonus grandchildren, Ijaley Williams, Camari Carl, Kaden Ross, Skylar Cousin, and Jaiden Cousin; and his godchildren, Sarah and Elizabeth Felder. He was pawpaw to many and leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held at Gods Grace Community Church on Saturday, March 18, 2023, Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Immediately followed by Funeral Service at 12pm at 9944 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088,
