Terry W. Evans

Terry Wayne Evans, born on June 4, 1965 in Houston, Texas went home to the Lord on July 13, 2022. After graduating from High School Terry entered the workforce. At the age of 23 Terry suffered an accident that changed the course of his life. He never complained about his accident or how it affected him. He greeted everyone with a smile, a twinkle in his eyes, a handshake or a kiss on the cheek if possible. Even though he was paralyzed on one side he enjoyed arm wrestling anyone who would challenge him. Terry’s favorite place to be, was in his childhood home in South Houston surrounded by his family, favorite things and by his memories. His favorite color was blue. He had a love for classic rock and roll music, in particular the group Journey. Terry’s favorite pass time was playing slot machines and even after his accident he enjoyed playing the slot machine he had at home.

His is survived by his family; Sue, Rhonda, Edna, Barbara, Larry, Corry and Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Juanita Evans, his twin sister Penny Evans and his son, Justin Evans.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who cared for Terry throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard, Houston, TX 77008. Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055 at 10 a.m.
