Terri R. High

Terri R. High passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after succumbing to her battle with cancer at the age of 58. She was born on November 13, 1957 in Houston, TX. She is survived by her husband Rick High of 24 years, daughter Stephanie and Son in law Jonathon Paulk, son Michael "Bubba" Colson and wife Jodi. Her five grandchildren Paden, Taylor, Lynden, Kyle, and Dylan were her pride and joy. Terri is also survived by her mother Mary Thomas and sister Elaine and husband Gary Herrington. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Thomas. The Viewing will be held Sunday, May 5 from 5pm - 8pm at Brookside Cypress Creek Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, May 16 at 10am at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress, TX with graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Terri was born Terri Ray Thomas on November 13, 1957 in Houston, TX to Walter "Raymond" Thomas where she was raised and graduated from Scarborough High School in 1976. Terri then moved to Cypress, TX where she raised her two children and married her husband Rick and was happily married for 24 years. Terri was also surrounded by her 5 grandbabies as much as she possibly could.

Terri loved working on various craft projects when she was not spending time with her family. Terri loved spending time at the ball field which started with her coaching softball at the Oaks Dad's Club for several years and continued with her attending every sports games that her grandchildren played that she could possibly make. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandbabies whether it was watching them at sports, having sleepovers, or just playing with them at home. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many. Heaven gained a great angel.
