Teresa Joy Martineau

Teresa Joy Hoffman Martineau, age 59, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 2, 2017 with her cat at her feet. Born in Elk River, Minnesota, she worked at Bennigan’s and Westfield by the Railroad for many years. Teresa loved to cook, knit, read, and care for her plants and animals. She was the family jokester at Christmastime. To this day, her presents are infamous in the family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Irene Hoffman; and mother-in-law, Cecile Martineau. Survived by her husband of 29 years, Michael Henry Martineau; brother, Terry Hoffman and wife Claudia; father-in-law, Maurice Martineau; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
