Teresa Earlene Marsh

Born on June 22, 1955, in Houston, Texas where she lived until her passing. Her parents were Herman Sims Marsh and Geraldine Faye Marsh. She was an only child. She attended the following schools: Harvard Elementary, Hogg Junior High and John H. Reagan High School in the Heights. She earned her High School diploma. After graduation, she worked numerous jobs but began a 21-year long career with Continental Airlines, now United Airlines, in 1987. She retired in 2008. She then began working for Community Bank of Texas in 2009 until her passing in 2021. She was a member of Son Harvest Church in Crosby, Texas. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and bore fruit throughout her life sharing the love of Christ with all she came in contact with.

She was a single mother to an only child, Cory Marsh. She loved and adored Cory with all of her heart and sacrificed all of her life to provide and take care of him. One of her most cherished days was when he got married to his lovely bride Holly McCullough in June of 2020 and became “Gigi” to 2 beautiful girls, Marley and Emory. She was a huge animal lover and will be sorely missed by her 9 fur babies, Munchkin, Thelessa, Spotty, Little Bit, Hope, Rapha, Josh, Elijah, and Snow.

She was sweet, kind, compassionate, generous and most of all loving. She loved to travel, go to church, and take care of her dogs. She loved listening to Praise and Worship music and enjoyed different ministry programs. She would want this to be a time of celebration rejoicing with her that she is now in the presence of her Abba Father God and Jesus Christ her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Sims Marsh, and her mother, Geraldine Faye Marsh as well as numerous uncles and cousins. She is survived by her only son Cory Marsh and his wife Holly Marsh. Her 2 grandchildren, Marley McCullough and Emory Whitehead and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation for Teresa will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.

Serving as pallbearers are Cory Marsh, Luke Cloud, Daniel Cloud, Joseph Mackey Jr., Brant Wheeler and J. J. Gonzales.
