Teresa Maria Garcia was called home to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on August 24, 2020. Teresa was born on July 20, 1952 in Houston, TX to Frances Blanco Garcia and Indalecio Garcia who proceeded her death. Also proceeding her in death, one brother Samuel Garcia, and one sister Rose Mary Bautista Garcia.
She is survived by her beloved children Everett Alvarez, Yvonne Ledesma (Roy), Adam Alvarez, Celeste Calvillo, and grandchildren Alexis Alvarez, Anthony Alvarez, Jacob Ledesma, Aiden Ledesma and great-grandchild Elijah Alvarez. Also surviving are two sisters Rachel Jones Castellano (Larry), Rita Garcia, brothers Ruben Garcia (Olivia), Ramiro Garcia, Raymond Garcia (Connie), Ricky Garcia (Rosalinda) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Teresa was full of life and loved to be surrounded by her family. Her interests were dancing, being at the beach, reading the bible and most importantly helping others. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. Teresa went to be with the Lord, Ama, Rosie, and daddy who have been waiting for her. To know her was to love her. We will miss you Teresa, but
you will always be in our hearts.
