Sylvester Martinez Jr., aged 56, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. He worked as a parts/maintenance technician for many years and at various hospitals around the Houston area. His last job was working for a cabinet company. He injured his right leg and never fully recovered to 100. He stayed as active as possible despite being affected by Diabetes and Kidney Cancer in his last year. He was a very quiet and gentle giant, as my wife Sylvia would say.
A visitation for Sylvester will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A last viewing will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A burial will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Santa Teresa Cemetery, 912 Buschong St, Houston, TX 77039.
