Susan Thibodeaux

Ms. Thibodeaux worked as an administrative assistant for many years in busy professional offices after putting herself though college. Although proud of her professional career, her role as “Mom” was her true passion in life. She found joy in giving to others and making them smile. She loved spending time with her family and friends with all her heart. She enjoyed Bible study, cards, games, painting, drawing, gardening, sewing, fishing and cooking in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Judy Liddell; and also her brothers Peter and Steve Liddell and grandparents, Harry Clark, Jennie Myrtie Williams, Fred Liddell and Ivy Stephens.

Her loving legacy lives on in her children, Cynthia Schreiner (Jim), Scott Rutledge (Karen), Steve Rutledge (Debbie), and Marie Blocker (Bryan); as well as her beloved grandchildren, Brandon Rutledge, Tyler Blocker, Alec Schreiner, Andrew Schreiner, and Lauren Johnson; her siblings, Mark Liddell, and Mary Temple; and many loved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Susan will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home-Champions (3410 Cypress Creek Parkway Houston, Texas 77068).
