Susan K. Reynolds “Sue,” was born on the 20th of September 1940, to Lewis Hayden and Elizabeth P. Keith in Boston, Massachusetts. She died on the 26th of August 2010, in Houston, Texas. Sue was predeceased by her parents.
She graduated from Keuka College in NY in 1962, and married Clarence O. “Bud” Reynolds, Jr. on the 19th of September 1964. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Foote of Wakefield, MA; her husband, Bud; their two children, Clark Orien Reynolds and his wife Michelle Exline Reynolds of Bellaire, TX and Robynne Elizabeth Warren and her husband Paul Alexander Warren of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren, Cole Orien, Hannah Michelle and Matthew Clark Reynolds, and Aiden Alexander and Tristan Andrew Warren.
Sue was a member of Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin, TX where she sang in the choir. She was an ardent supporter of Millennium Relief and Development Services, Star of Hope Mission in Houston, Life House of Houston; and the schools her grandchildren attended, Annunciation Orthodox School and First Baptist Academy, both of Houston, TX.
Sue was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and strived to live her life by what Jesus said were the two greatest commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself.
The memorial service is to be conducted in October at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin, TX.
