Surya Winata

Surya Winata was born in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia on May 22, 1921. He shared his 96 years of life full of of love, wisdom and thoughtfulness with his family and the people surround him. He was always with us in happiness and sorrows.

He will be truly and deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Nilla Kohari and his 6 children and their families: Inge & David Epperson and their 5 children and 1 grandson (Jennifer & Bryan White and Noah, Jonathan, Jason, Jake and Jeremy: Timothy & Hiroko Winata and their 3 children (Andy, Meg and Sean): Swan & Anoshirvan Jafari and their 3 children and 3 grandchildren (Nushy & Mehrdad Nikfarjam, Olivia and Caroline, Mona & Marc Kowalewski and Adam, Mehrnaz & Dave Listijono): Jonathan & Evelyn Winata and their 4 children and 3 grandchildren (Daisy & Vincent Lee, Zoey and Alex, Joshua, Jonah and Justin); Asher & Teresa Winata and their son (Samuel), Intje & Chuck Charubhat and their 4 children and 1 grandson (Cory, Kevin & Tiffani and Cameron, and Nikki).
