We learnt from Manju about the recent demise of Suman. We fondly remember her for her bubbly  and positive spirit. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in these difficult times. She will be missed.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Suman made a special effort to meet me in Colorado (Thank you, Ravi!) shortly after meeting at our son's wedding. That was such a delightful time of learning and enjoying getting to know her. I always hoped that we would be able to visit again. Such a vibrant, giving soul. I am so sorry she is gone. She is missed.

It is with my deepest condolences and a heavy heart that I send my condolences from so many miles away.  I wish I could say these words in person with many hugs to Vikas, Chiki, and the entire family.  Suman Auntie was and always will be the "cool Auntie."  I have so many special memories of her from my childhood and adolescence.  From family picnics, a trip to Boston, road trips to Austin, dinner parties, and a very special visit to London...Auntie gave each of these moments lots of energy and love.  Her ability to speak her mind and do so with love and encouragement has always inspired me!  She poured me my first sip of champagne and was my confidante during my first heart ache of puppy love.  I will miss her with all my heart. Sending everyone in Houston all my love.  To Vikas, Chiki and Uncle,you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I am wishing for your comfort and peace. Dear Ravi, Chiki, & Vikas, 
Suman was my very best friend for too many years to count.  We always knew what each other was thinking even when we were apart.  My heart is broken and I miss her so much.  She suffered so the last few years yet all she worried about was Ravi's health and how Chiki and Vikas were faring as adults.  She was so very proud of Chiki and Vikas and what great doctors plus parents they each had become   They were her life-long work. She was the most decent, honest, and loving person I have ever known.  The world lost a wonderful person yesterday.  I am just as so honored to have known her and had her in my life.  She was my Rock and my Mentor.  She will always be in my heart.
