Sturling Murchison

Sturling Murchison was born in Crockett, TX on April 6, 1943. He was born to the guardian of Elmer Murchison and Elomonia Landers. Sterling attended Phyllis Wheatley High School where he graduated and received his diploma.   Sturling met the love of his life Ruth Murchison on February 28, 1963 he took her hand in holy matrimony and to this union three children were born.   In his late days, his daughter prayed for him and he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.   Sturling loaded and unloaded trucks for Mc Kinley Trucking Co. for several years until he became ill.   On 6th day of March in 2018 God’s purpose for Sturling was fulfilled. He transitioned from earthly labor and receive his heavenly reward.   He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Ruth Murchison, sons: Gregory Murchison and son in law Gregory O’Brien, sisters: Dorothy Drew and Charlene Renfers, brother in law Robert Drew and great niece Shonte Williams.   He leaves behind to cherish in his memories Son: David Murchison; daughter: Tarsha Murchison O’Brien; Grandchildren: Dominique (Shayla), Rodrick, Rashelle, Detric, Victoria, D.J., Taylor and Tyrone; Great Grandchildren: Xamarion, Jaylen, Drew, Ghustice, Sky, Xyrin, Xamere, Xaiden, Sy’aer and Jeremiah; Brother: Charles Jones, Sr.; Sister in Laws: Anna Bonner and Anita Jones; Nieces: Phyllis (Harold), Tracy (Darryl), Stephanie, Pam (Ledell), Sherrie (Jeff), Medina, Marcie (), Natalie (Sean); Nephews: Anthony (Rayna), Darrell (Bernice), Lance, Charles Jr, Patrick and special friend Sharon Roberts and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
