Stuart was a good person.  He had an infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor.  I was proud to work with him and call him a good friend.   This world needs more folks like Stuart.  God Bless Him.

Scott and our family continues to pray for you and are here to help you get through anything you need help with in the next phase of this tragedy.

We are saddened and still in disbelief that he is gone, so young and so much more ahead for you and your family.

We will always cherish the memories of those silly late night sharade games and all his silly jokes and comments.  The family gatherings, the trips and the challenges of going through life as a family.

I remember working in the booth at football games when we first opened the stadium at NCISD.  It was always fun to hear his stories and thoughts on a variety of topics. He usually had a smile and was friendly to those he met.  Whenever he would interview me about my team I would tell him “Make me look good.”   He usually replied “I’ll try but I don’t do miracles.”  What a good friend he was.  

1983 seems like such a long time ago, and the years pass like days!  Stuart was such a great, kind and outgoing person during high school. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers as you remember Stuart. Know that we are spiritual beings living in our human bodies for just a short time, but his spiritual being will live forever in our Father’s arms!  God is good all the time!  Prayers and healing!

Ol Stewy, I'm in shock still, I can't believe it's true.  You were my best friend here in New Caney.  Each day goes by and it's just not the same.  I  miss you more and more.  My heart goes out to Mariana and Christian, may God be by your side through this hard journey.  Christian you were loved more than you will ever know!  Stuart talked about you all the time, he was so proud of you!  Till we meet again!

Unfortunately I know first hand how difficult it is to lose a beloved husband and father.  It was so hard going through the loss of your dad/grandpa and then my husband.  I am so sorry you both have to go through this at such young ages.  Sometimes life can be so hard. But I know you have a wonderful supportive family and Stuart would want you both to live your lives with joy.  Just wondering how you will all be fed at mom's house without Stuart's wonderful gourmet cooking!

I am Reecie’s sister. She remained my best friend all her life. The memory I want to share is one at her memorial.  I barely knew Mariana, but the grief she shared in losing her mother-in-love was overwhelming.  Her sister grieved just as much! This is to testify how Stuart’s love for family was real and shared by the whole Stanley clan! We have two daughters, Karen and Amy, who grew up playing with Pat and Stuart! That was in Center and in Conroe with their grandparents.
Stuart enjoyed life and we know you all enjoyed living life with him.  Our hearts grieve with you but not without the hope we know in Jesus Christ. May He comfort you all.  Don and Lena Gibson

I remember Stuart from our days at Center High School in Center, Texas. The Class of 1983 was a very close knit family. He was always that guy with the bright smile and the voice that was fit for television. I can recall the first time I saw him on KTRE-Lufkin as our local meteorologist. After I got over the shock of his total transformation (mainly the hair), I sat motionless staring at the TV screen with so much joy to see a personal friend reporting the weather. Now I am in disbelief that someone with so much more life to live transition to an undiscovered place. My wife and I offer our deepest condolences, blessings and prayers to those he has left behind. Stu showed me, in all ways, how to be a professional newsman. I was his photog at two stations, his friend and brother. He always had my back, I his and I constantly, relentlessly made him laugh with that 3-ball profundo. Good Lord, so lucky to have had him in my life.

Stu Bob was a good friend and quality guy.  We shared many fun times in the TV business and living life in the Pineywoods. 

Kathleen and I will miss your laugh and easy going style. We lost a good one.  Prayers to your family and sure our paths will cross again someday.

One of the greatest mentors of my life. 

 At the young age of 15, Stuart took a risk to invest in my life. He taught me great work ethic, set up my first internship, voiced in my animations and gave me words of wisdom/guidance that ultimately lead me down the Audio/Visual production path. My entire career has heavily been impacted by his mentorship.

Stuart, you will be missed by the thousands of people you’ve impacted over your lifetime. Rest In Peace Stan-Man.

Dear family,

Please accept my condolences at this time. I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Stuart spending time with my little brother, Stephen Walker. May God be with you in the days ahead.

I worked with Mr. Stanley during his time at Carthage ISD. We shared many lunches, laughs, and stories. I will be praying for his family and friends.

Stuart was always so much fun in school. I thought the world of him. He was a great friend. I pray God will give you comfort and peace.

Stuart was in most of my higher math and science classes in high school. He was always a really nice yet funny person. I especially remember in Chemistry II when we all worked so hard to figure out what each of our mystery solution was. Stuart will be missed so much.
