Stephen Allen Tredway

Stephen (Steve) Allen Tredway, 69, passed away at home on Thursday, November 26, 2020. He was born December 1, 1950. He attended Spring Branch High School and played football for the University of Texas before transferring to the University of Houston graduating with a BBA-Quantitative Management Science.

Working over 38 years in the engineering, oil and gas industries as a Project Control Manager that took him to Alabama, Virginia, Canada, Venezuela, New Jersey where he found the love of his life, Tennessee, returning to Alabama, Louisiana, then returning to his home town of Houston, Texas where he retired in 2013. He enjoyed keeping busy reading mystery novels, listening to hard rock as well as classical music, solving the Sunday New York Times and logic problem puzzles as well as creating challenging trivia questions for his friends to solve. He loved caring for his dog Lucy, supporting various animal shelters, and cooking dinner for his beloved wife each night.

He is predeceased in death by his mother Wilma West Tredway and father John Tredway and sister-in-law Patricia DiPaolo. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Angelina (Angie) DiPaolo Tredway and brothers-in-law Vincent and Beverly DiPaolo, Joseph DiPaolo, Patsy and Karen DiPaolo, Frank DiPaolo and sisters-in-law Caroline and Martin Lindsey, Antoinette and Robert Murphy, all living in New Jersey, plus 13 nieces/nephews and 15 great-nieces/nephews, Aunt Joy West of Missouri, Uncle Charles and Donna Tredway of Spring Branch, Texas and numerous cousins.

To pay your respect to Steve’s wife and family they are accepting guests at their home from 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, at 1303 Sapphire Bay Court, Houston, Texas 77094.
