Stella D. Lopez

Stella graduated from Jefferson High School before beginning her career with the Government for United States Customs. In 1963 she married Robert Lopez. The couple moved to another house in Houston where they continued to live their lives together while raising their three children, Robert R., Rosanne, and René.

Stella was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also active with volunteering in the community. Despite her hectic schedule she eventually went back to school to study Theology. She had a passion for our Lord and Savior. She spent the last 33 years of her life preaching the word of God. There was nothing more rewarding to her than the faithful preaching of the Word of God. She affected many lives with her teachings, learnings, and assisting them with spiritual guidance. She spent her latter days continuing her mission.

Stella is survived by her husband, three children, and six grandchildren, and her two brothers Roland and Thomas Delgado; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
