Stanley "Buddy" Metcalf Goode

Stanley “Buddy” Metcalf Goode Sr., 89 of Rosharon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Pasadena, Texas. Buddy was born on April 3, 1921, in Lane City, Texas. He served in the United States Navy aboard the light cruiser USS St. Louis during World War II. Originally named Sinclair Oil Refinery, he retired from Atlanta Richfield Company in 1983 after 37 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Rosie. He is survived by his sons; Stanly Goode and wife Barbara of Huntsville, Texas; Chuck Goode and wife Brenda of Pasadena, Texas; and David Goode and wife Patti of Rosharon, Texas, his grandchildren Annie Tijerina; Adam Goode; his great grand child Noah Tijerina; and brothers Horace “Junior” Goode and wife Wilma of Wharton Texas, and Donald Goode and wife Peggy of Missouri, and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 12:30 in the Family Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Grandview Funeral Home.
