Sotero Martinez Sr. was born September 8, 1947, and passed away on September 25, 2015. He was a loving father, husband, and friend. He retired from Harris County carpenter shop department after 24 years of service as a master carpenter. He had the unique ability to take a piece of wood and turn it into a masterpiece.
He is survived by his beloved wife Rosa Linda Martinez, his daughter Elva Linda Martinez, and his two sons Sotero F. Martinez Jr., and Victor A. Martinez.
He also had eight grandchildren Sotero III (19), Lily (19), Juan Jr. (19), Joel (16), Alisia (15), Emily (13), Victor Jr. (13), and Evie (3). He is also survived by many other family and friends from Texas and Mexico.
Visitation is Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 9:00 A.M.- 8:00 P.M.
Rosary will be held Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 7:30 P.M.
Service will be held Thursday October 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.
