Sonia Denise Guillory

She was baptized in Catholic faith as a baby but later in life joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

Sonia had her hand in many different professions but she mainly enjoyed home healthcare. If you knew “Sunshine” you knew her world revolved around her grand kids and being the life of any party she attended. She was very big on family and getting together on every occasion and making sure she captured every moment with her phone even if you didn’t want to take a picture. We will miss mostly her smile that lit up every room she stepped in. She was truly our Sunshine.

She was preceded in death by her brother Louis Earl Tarver.

Sonia leaves behind her loving parents Ray and Gwendolyn Grigss, her brother Ray Griggs Jr, her fiancé Christopher Boutte Sr, her children Shaniqua Guillory, Daquita Kemp, Anthony Kemp, her Step Children Socora Parker, Chris Boutte Jr, Stacy Kemp, Dante Kemp, Donovan Williams, her grandchildren Ireanna, Keidran, Aa’Niya, Sire, Amilliyana, Azarious, Amarious, Kashe, Kamden, Karlei, Kenslei, Kai, Kamari, Jaylen and God parents Billy Singleton, Brenda Perkins and bonus son Wayne Bennett and a host of relatives and friends.
