I didn't know about her passing until today. My memories are of a sweet, quiet, beautiful lady married to my tall handsome cousin.

I am hurting with everyone here over the loss of Sibyl, going back to Stevens Elementary and all through high school. I am so glad we got to meet again after many years that evening at the Roznovsky's gathering. She was just as sweet as always. Peace to her and all who loved her.

We are terribly saddened to hear of Sibyl's passing. We have so many great memories of the years our girls were best friends growing up in Jersey Village. May you find a little bit of comfort knowing that your many friends have you wrapped tightly in their hearts, their thoughts and their prayers.

Sending prayers and hugs for Sybil's family and friends.  The service today was very nice.  Sybil was so very dear to all of us.  To know her was to love her.  To talk to her was a joy and being friends with her was a great pleasure.  I know her family has to know how they were treasured by her.  We will all miss her.  Until we see her again, she will join in the angels that watch over us.

Dearest Sibyl, We suddenly remember what a great friend and neighbor you were for so many of our years together in Jersey Village.  You and Ed and Dick and I had enjoyed dinners, dancing, parties and neighborhood get-togethers.  Always enjoying each other's stories about our children and grand-children.  You were a joy to be around and always had a kind word about everyone.  We will miss you dear friend.

So sorry to hear of Sybil's passing.  Ed, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

We have been best friends (both of us were age 5) all our lives since meeting at her aunt's and uncle's BBQ.  There was hardly a day that went by that we either called, texted or emailed each other.  A few years later Sibyl, Debbie (DeMottier) Grizzaffi and I became inseparable--having our babies at the same time, the 3 of us and our husbands taking vacations together, attended all of your pool parties, holiday parties, birthdays and everything else.  I don't know what I'm going to do without you.  All of my family sends love, support and prayers to your family.  We love you Sibyl, Cherri and Andy Ward and Family.

On behalf of the Waltrip Class of '67, I would like to extend sympathy to Ed and his family.  We were very saddened to hear the news. May God bless you and your family at this time.

I knew Ed from high school days and we met Sibyl when as young marrieds, we became neighbors at our first homes, on Hoover street some 40+ years ago.  We have shared countless good times and memories together.  From camping on the Guadalupe with our kids and the Schneiders, swim parties and volleyball at their home in JV, countless dinner parties and dinners out, Weddings, Baby Showers, New Years Eve Dinners, our wonderful trip to Alaska and celebrating our grand children together.  A big part of all our lives have Sibyl in them.  She was a great friend, wife, mother, and grand mother who loved her family dearly and we will all miss her terribly.  Ed, Brian and Stacey and their families continue in our prayers.  We Love you Sibyl, Linda and Tom

I am saddened to hear about Sibyl. We had reconnected earlier in the year and I enjoyed catching up on our lives and talking on Facebook. Ed, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

I was so sorry to hear about this. Sibyl was one of the sweetest people I've ever known and I am so glad that I got to see her when I was in Houston in January. She never forgot her friends from high school, even though we seldom saw one another. She always kept in touch. She graced this earth with her presence and we will miss her always. My heart goes out to her family.

Ed, I am so sorry for your loss.  My prayers are with you and your family during this challenging time.  You were so supportive of me when I was working with you and I lost my parents, that is something I will never foget.  If there is anything your Bechtel family can do please let us know.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Sybil's passing. She was the kindest person through all the years of knowing her.  We recently reconnected because of family that stay hear with us. I knew Sybil through my sister, Linda.  We have shared so many showers, celebrations and holidays.  She was always so sweet and kind.  Her family meant everything to her.  It is so hard to believe she is no longer with us.  My prayers go out to Ed, Brian and Amy.

Sibyl will be greatly missed. She and I met when she worked at Bechtel and have stayed friends long after she retired to spend time with her lovely grandchildren. I will miss our catch up lunches sharing pictures and stories of our children and grandchildren.  My prayers to Sibyl's husband, Ed, her children and grandchildren.

Sibyl will be remembered, as a very dear friend/classmate from our days at Waltrip High School.....We were all blessed to have known her, and many of us reconnected with her in the last few years. We had known Sibyl and Ed from the early 1970's we all were so newly-weds when we were introduced by Sibyl's Aunt Lorine K Izard.  I remember how striking petite and refind Sibyl carried herself!  She was so graceful and gentle and soft spoken.  And always a beautiful smile that matched that sparkle in her eyes!  You know that smile and twinkle in her eyes if you knew Sibyl! 
My regret today is that we never did get to do that lunch we always said we need to do...I will never get that time with her now.   
I also would like to share how very much She loved her son and daughter, and how much she truely adored the grandchildren and the Family Vacations you all took together and all the memoriable holidays and quality time that she often spoke about with softness in her little voice.  
May God comfort you Ed, and your precious family.

I worked with Sibyl at Mustang Engineering for several years and we became good friends. She was beautiful inside and out and one of the sweetest,kindest people I ever met.Her life revolved around her family, especially those grandkids. I feel very blessed to have met and been friends with Sibyl.Ed, you and your family will be in my prayers as you try to deal with the passing of your wife, mom, and grandmother. I will miss you terribly Sibyl, my beautiful friend.
