Shyrel Louise Willett

Shyrel gave her husband, Stuart, a love story that not even Hollywood could do justice. She was, as he always said, "his best half." Shyrel chose a transcendent man, one that is notably a dying breed. A man unafraid to endure, which she knew the moment she said, "I Do."

Shyrel gave her three children, Stormy, Brandy and Michael, selflessness. She ensured they knew love, felt comfort, experienced happiness and appreciated joy. She made sure to exhibit strength, endurance, stability and faith to her children. Giving them all the gifts needed to carry with them through life.

Shyrel gave her nine grandchildren her heart. They, in return, filled her heart with joy. At each birth, her eyes shined bright and her smile was infectious. That infectiousness touched each one of them to their core. All of them will remember their "mawma", and they too will take the gifts she gave with them throughout their lives.

Shyrel Willett, 67, passed away to be with our Lord in Heaven on October 24, 2017 at 6:06pm. She was surrounded by family who loved her deeply, unknowing until that moment, just how much she impacted each of us individually, as we held her, until her climb up the stairs to Heaven was complete.

Shyrel is survived by her mother Dorothy, her sisters Carolyn and TC, her brother Carl, her husband Stuart, her daughters Stormy and Brandy, her son Michael and daughter in law Laurie, her grandchildren EJ, Shaun, Ryan, Corey, Riker, Dylan, Madison, Natalie and Taylor; and countless other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Shyrel will be missed, but forever cherished.

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service to be at 3:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven.
